Money Farming Guide
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster’s main form of currency is Macca and is used for purchasing items, magatama, and demons, paying for fusion services, using healing fountains, and other essential features. Since you will come across very challenging enemies throughout the main story, having enough resources to become better-equipped becomes increasingly important.
Below are the best ways to farm Macca in the game, including methods to earn money during the early, middle, and late stages.
Early Stages
Farm Pixie for Revival Beads

You can farm Pixie in Yoyogi Park -West Square to get Revival Beads which can be sold for 300 Macca each. This allows you to earn a good amount of money early in the game since Pixie are very easy to defeat.
Farm Apsaras for Aquamarine

Apsaras found in Ginza can be farmed to get Aquamarine. Collect 3 of this item and exchange them for a Bead Chain at Rag’s Jewelry in Ginza B1F. You can then sell Bead Chain for 5,000 Macca each.
Farm Isora for Life Stone

Ginza Underpass has Isora that you can defeat to get Life Stones which can be sold for 50 Macca each. While this method of earning money is not as efficient as the first two mentioned above, you can earn a good amount of experience by farming Isora. Use Fire skills to make short work of them in battle.
Middle Stages
Farm Demons for Sellable Items

The demons found in Kabukichi Prison are all weak to Fire skills like Maragi and Fire Breath. Wipe them out to get various sellable items which include Onyx, Aquamarine, and Medicine.

One of the best places to farm for money is Hell’s Vault of the 4th Kalpa of the Labyrinth of Amala. You can reach the area by traveling through the Warp Zones.
Labyrinth of Amala Walkthrough and Guide
Progressing deeper into the 4th Kalpa, including reaching Hell’s Vault, allows you to earn around 40,000 Macca in 1 minute by defeating many of the powerful enemies in the area.

Use a Demon with the Treasure Hunt Skill

Having a High Pixie (or any other demon) with the Treasure Hunt skill grants you a chance to pick up random items while exploring the 2D areas of the game. The likelihood of getting an item using this method depends on the demon’s luck stat. It is also recommended to have a demon with the Estoma skill in your party to temporarily prevent encounters as you walk around.
