As a reporter, Hijiri has a strong sense of duty to discover the truth behind the mysterious event called the Conception. His steadfast nature also often drives him to seek answers despite unknown dangers appearing in the ruined world.
Hijiri in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster
The Protagonist meets Hijiri who is investigating the riot at Yoyogi Park prior to the Conception. After the world is reduced to ruin, Hijiri resolves to uncover the mystery of the catastrophic event and discovers strange interconnected Terminals. Hijiri begins to study them, staying true to his profession as a reporter, while helping the Protagonist who has now transformed into the Demi-fiend.
