Incense Farming Guide
Incense are rare items in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster (SMT 3: Nocturne) that increase your character’s stats by 1 when used. Because of there usefulness, it is important to farm as many of them as possible to increase your character’s performance in battle.
Below are the best ways to farm Incense in the game, both in and out of battle.
Getting Incense from Junk Shop Prizes
Collect 10 Lucky Tickets
You can get Incense as a random prize from the junk shops by collecting 10 Lucky Tickets. To earn a ticket, you must spend at least 1,000 Macca at a junk shop.
| 1 | Purchase 1,000 Macca worth of items at a junk shop to get 1 Lucky Ticket. |

| 2 | Repeat step 1 until you have 10 Lucky Tickets. |
| 3 | Save your game. |
| 4 | Visit the Junk Shop to choose between three prize boxes. Note that you should choose the white box as much as possible for higher chances of getting Incense. |
| 5 | Reload your save file if you do not get Incense from the box and repeat step 4. |
Getting Incense from Mystical Chests
Open Mystical Chests during Full Moon phase
You can also obtain Incense from Mystical Chests found in dungeons. It is recommended to open the Mystical Chests during Full Moon Phase (Kagutsuchi) whenever you can for better chances of getting Incense and other rare items from them.
