Fuu-Ki Strategies
Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:
Don’t give money
Before the battle, you will have a conversation event with the boss. Decline the request of the boss to receive Macca from you.
Equip Hifumi Magatama
Make sure the Protagonist or Demi-fiend is wearing a Hifumi Magatama. This Magatama resists Force attacks.
Be familiar with boss attacks and skills
Make it a point to get familiar with the attacks and skills of the boss. Adjust your strategy when the boss uses skills like Physical and Force Magic attacks. We suggest having one party member that can nullify, absorb, or resist Phys and one for Force attacks as well. This would punish the boss for not hitting attacks by consuming one regular turn from its side.
Also, casting Sukunda/Fog Breath will make the boss miss its physical attacks and skills.
Land Debuffs
Land debuffs on the boss while leaving some MP for healing. Debuffs can be in the form of attack power decrease (Tarunda/War Cry), defense power decrease (Rakunda), and hit/evasion power decrease (Sukunda/Fog Breath). These debuffs can be accessed by demons in your party.
Prioritize on landing Sukunda/Fog Breath first. Followed by Rakunda and Tarunda/War Cry.
Cast Buffs
Cast buffs on your party members as well. Buffs can be in the form of attack power increase (Tarukaja), magic power increase (Makakaja), defense power increase (Rakukaja), and hit/evasion power increase (Sukukaja). These buffs can be accessed by demons in your party.
Prioritize on landing Sukukaja first. Followed by Makakaja, and Rakukaja.
Use Elec and other Magic Skills except for Force
Fuu-Ki is weak against all Magic attacks especially Electricity attacks. The damage will be higher if the party is buffed and can also inflict Shock/Paralyze status by chance.
Boost Attacks
In addition to buffs, you can also use attacks further by using Focus (next Physical and Almighty deals x2.5 damage). This damage buff can be accessed by demons in your party.
Use Phys attacks and skills
The boss has resistance to physical attacks. However, it can still receive damage from it so keep using physical skills. The damage is very effective when the boss is under Freeze or Shock/Paralyze status. If you don’t have them, just rely on your high-level demons and deal normal attacks instead.
Heal Allies
Keep the party’s HP sustained by using healing skills. Especially when other party members are hit by strong Force skills.
