Personality
Isamu is a laid-back high school student who belongs to the same class as the Protagonist and Chiaki Tachibana. Frequently described as lazy and a jokester, Isamu is content with having no real direction in life which earns Chiaki’s low regard of him. Isamu also relies too much on other people for his own good, hates being out of his comfort zone, and is easily influenced by the opinion of others.
Isamu in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster
At the beginning of the game, Isamu, Chiaki, and the Protagonist agree to meet in Yoyogi Park to visit their homeroom teacher, Ms. Takao, at the Shinjuku Medical Center. Things, however, take a turn for the worst as the three students are swept by the mysterious occurrence known only as of the Conception. Isamu is then taken prisoner by demons and awakens a Reason of total isolation, believing that all hope is lost and no one can help him.
