Kaiwan Strategies
Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:
Equip Kamudo Magatama
Before the battle, make sure the Protagonist or Demi-fiend is wearing a Kamudo Magatama. These Magatamas do not nullify attacks but they boost Strength stats equally.
Pass Regular Turn to Support Demons
If you start the battle with Demi-fiend, make use of the Press Turn System and pass your turn to Sudama or other demons that can use Debuff and Buff Support Skills.
Land Debuffs
Land debuffs on the boss while leaving some MP for healing. Debuffs can be in the form of attack power decrease (Tarunda/War Cry), defense power decrease (Rakunda), and hit/evasion power decrease (Sukunda/Fog Breath). These debuffs can be accessed by demons in your party.
Prioritize on landing Sukunda/Fog Breath first. Followed by Rakunda and Tarunda/War Cry.
Cast Buffs
Cast buffs on your party members as well. Buffs can be in the form of attack power increase (Tarukaja), magic power increase (Makakaja), defense power increase (Rakukaja), and hit/evasion power increase (Sukukaja). These buffs can be accessed by demons in your party.
Prioritize on landing Sukukaja first. Followed by Tarukaja and Rakukaja.
Boost Attacks
In addition to buffs, you can also use attacks further by using Focus (next Physical and Almighty deals x2.5 damage). This damage buff can be accessed by demons in your party.
Use Phys attacks
Kaiwans do not have resistance to physical attacks so you can damage them with Physical skills. If you don’t have them, just rely on your high-level demons and deal normal attacks instead.
Focus on one Kaiwan at a time if you’re using single-target physical skills.
Heal Allies
Keep the party’s HP sustained by using healing skills. Especially when other party members are using HP-consuming Physical skills.
