Second Kalpa Entrance Walkthrough
1 | After looking through the peephole, approach and examine the two pillars at the center and place two candelabrums. |
---|---|
2 | Before entering the Second Kalpa (the closed north hole), make sure to SAVE your current game as well as recover lost HP and MP for all party members. |
3 | Enter the east open hole to return to the Labyrinth of Amala main entrance. |
4 | In order to return to the Second Kalpa, proceed north and enter the open northwest hole. This is east of the First Kalpa Hole. |
5 | While in the warp zone, get as much Macca as you can while avoiding enemy objects. You can do it repeatedly when you go in-and-out of the dungeon. |
6 | Approach the door to the north and enter. |
Second Kalpa Walkthrough Part 1
1 | In the “1F’ level, head straight and enter the door. Then, go down the hole just ahead. |
---|---|
2 | You’ll be at “B1F” level, walk east. At the fork, take the west path (compass: north) and enter the north door. |
3 | You’ll be in another area of the level. Take the door on the north wall. |
4 | In the next area, take the door to the west wall. From there, go south to find a floating cube (Tetraja Rock x1) inside the room and go back out. |
5 | Go west along the corridor and enter the first north door you encounter on your east. Enter the east door and get the item from the floating cube (Smoke Ball x1). |
6 | Leave the room and go north (compass: west) instead. You’ll see three doors on the west wall. |
7 | Pick the west door, head north (compass: south), and see a fork. |
8 | Take the west branch (compass east) and enter the door (compass: south). Find a floating cube (Magic Mirror x1) inside and return to the fork. |
9 | Follow the north branch (compass: south) this time. Keep going north (compass: south) and reach a room with two far doors. |
10 | Pick the east door and you will be in another room with two doors near each other. Choose the east door again and examine the floating cube (Dekaja Rock x1). |
11 | Exit the room afterwards. Then, go to the west door. When you reach the forked path, ignore the drop down and take the path going east. Reach the east end. |
12 | Enter the second north door west (compass: north) of your position. Inside the room examine the floating cube (Bead x1). |
13 | Leave the room and enter the first north door. In the next area, walk west to find two doors. Take the one closest to the north and open the chest (Smoke Ball x1) inside. |
14 | Leave the room and go to the southwest hole (compass: north) (the first one you passed by earlier). Drop down to that hole. |
15 | In the “B2F” level, approach the magic wall to the west and go through it. In the next area, head to the floating cube (Deathstone x1). |
16 | Return to the previous area where you landed and enter the north door. Go to the west door and enter. See a ladder that you can climb and go up. |
17 | Return to the “B1F” level in another area. Go north (compass: east) and reach a forked path. Go west (compass: north) and north and enter the door. |
18 | Head east and don’t enter the east door. Instead, enter the south door (compass: south) nearby. Enter the door in the next area and drop down the hole again. |
19 | Return to “B2F” and examine another chest (Agility Incense x1). Leave the room and proceed the east. Enter the west door (compass: west) and use the ladder again. |
20 | Go north (compass: east) and reach the fork. Go west (compass: north) and enter the north door. Head straight further and return to the west wall again with three doors. |
21 | Go east and enter the south door again. Go west (compass: east) and find a hole on your east. Drop down to the lower area. |
22 | Return to “B2F” and talk to another Shady Broker that will sell Nue (for 30,000 Macca) which has various skills to recover HP and MP. |
23 | Afterwards, leave the room and go west. Climb the ladder and take the path leading north at the fork. You should reach the west wall with the three doors again. |
24 | Go in the door in the middle door. Climb down the ladder and exit the room. |
Second Kalpa Walkthrough Part 2
1 | You will then come to a “B2F” level cursed area that causes you to take massive damage (half HP for every couple of steps). A good way to get past the area is to have the Pisaca you bought from the Shady Broker at the First Kalpa and use its Estoma skill to lessen encounters. Make sure Pisaca is part of your active party as well. |
---|---|
2 | Don’t use HP recovery items since Demi-fiend will not die. You and your party will remain at least 1 HP and it would be a waste of items to heal until you clear this pathway. |
3 | If ever you do trigger an encounter, use pass your regular turns to Pisaca and use Trafuri to escape immediately. |
4 | Follow the pathway by heading east and north. Go west and enter the first door. |
5 | Go west more and south. When you move east again, ignore the doorway facing south and reach the east end instead. |
6 | Enter the second door. Go north a little, west, and south. Ignore another door facing south and enter the third door located in the east. |
7 | Keep going a little east, north, and west. Ignore the door you encounter. Instead, reach the end and look for a ladder. |
8 | At the “B3F” level, go north and west to reach a large area. Talk to Ifrit demon and get 250,000 Macca as a reward for taking up this challenge. |
9 | Use the ladder to come back to “B2F” and backtrack your way back. Make use of the doors you skipped to quickly return to the starting zone. |
10 | Go upstairs and return to the west wall with three doors. |
Second Kalpa Walkthrough Part 3
1 | Upon reaching the room with the three doors, head to the nearest hole and drop off to reach the lower area. |
---|---|
2 | Exit the room you landed. Outside head east and drop down to the east hole. |
3 | You will arrive at the “B3F” level large area covered by walls (the walls are visible when you are close and invisible when you are far). Make use of Estoma for lesser encounters and position Demi-fiend facing north (compass: north) when you land. Follow the instructions below: |
4 | Move one panel west, one panel north, and two panels west. You will be facing the north door from afar. |
5 | Head straight and reach the end of the north wall. You are one panel east of the north door. |
6 | From your position, go two panels east. Go one panel south. |
7 | Go east again toward the east wall. From there, go south examine the floating cube (Chakra Pot x1). |
8 | Exit through the east door. At the end of the path to the east, go through the magic wall on the left. |
9 | Go down the ladder and reach the “B4F” level. Get the item inside the floating cube (Moon Key x1). Note that you can use this to get the Black Visor at the First Kalpa B1F. Using it allows you to rematch various bosses in the Burial Chamber. |
10 | Backtrack to the magic wall and return to large room with invisible walls using the east door. |
11 | From the east door head back to the panel beside the north wall door. Follow the instructions below: |
12 | Go five panels south and reach the end. Go two panels east (compass: west), one panel north, two panels west, one panel north, two panels west, one panel north, and one panel west again. |
13 | You will be at a panel beside the west wall. Proceed north and reach the end. Then, go east and reach the end. |
14 | Enter the north door nearby. In the next area, there is a forked path. Go to the west branch and use the Moon Key to go inside the door ahead. Get the item from the floating cube (Deathstone x1) and exit. |
15 | Leave the room and proceed to the east branch of the forked path. Reach the east end and use the ladder to go upstairs. |
16 | From there, walk south and a room. Exit and go back in the “B2F” hallway again. |
17 | Instead of going back to the east hole, proceed to the west hole instead and drop down. |
18 | You’ll be standing across the west door. Go a little bit east (compass: north) and find a chest (Soma x1). From the panel where the chest is located make Demi-fiend face south. Follow the instructions below: |
19 | Go two panels north (compass: south), four panels west (compass: east), two panels north (compass: south), eight panels west (compass: east), and reach the end. Move two panels north (compass: south), four panels east (compass: west). (You can make use of our map below to navigate better.) |
20 | Go east (compass: north) and follow the two zigzag pathways. After that, pick the east pathway that leads beside the south wall. |
21 | From that panel, head straight to reach the end. |
22 | The end is the west wall. From there, go north and enter the west door. |
23 | Outside the west door, go south. Ignore the first east pathway (compass: west) since it is another Burial Chambers room. |
24 | Pick the second east pathway (compass: west) and go upstairs. |
25 | Return to the “B2F” and follow the pathway leading north. In the fork, take the east branch and exit. |
26 | Exit the next room and return to the “B2F” level middle hallway. |
27 | Head to the west door and go upstairs. In the “B1F” level return to the southeast hole to drop down. |
28 | In the next area, go south and use the Moon Key to go through the door. From there, go south and down the hole ahead. |
29 | Afterwards, go down the stairs to reach the peephole to the Third Kalpa. Make sure to enter the Third Kalpa and trigger the cutscene with the rider demons before returning to Tokyo. |
30 | Use the Terminal room of the Labyrinth of Amala and transfer to Ikebukuro Tunnel. Make your back to the entrance of Asakusa and enter. Asakusa and The Obelisk Walkthrough |

Whoever wrote this has no idea what North, East, etc means.
This guide is horrible, directions are wrong constantly. You’re best off watching a video walkthrough.
This guide is atrocious, you’re better off watching a video walkthrough.
Good lord, this guide is such a mess. Just use the in-game compass for directions. Also, a lot of the directions skip steps so it’s difficult to follow in the more complex dungeons.
Horrible guide, compass directions are not subjective, there’s no such thing as “your East”, they’re static. Stuff like that makes the guide WAY harder to read than it should be.
Worst directions ever!
Already fixed this walkthrough. Thank for your feedback.
The amended compass directions are an improvement, however the missing steps and inconsistent language are still an issue.
