Firework Launcher Guide
Firework launchers are limited-time weapons that first appeared in the independence day special. As the weapon’s name suggests, it’s a launcher with fireworks as ammunition. It is classified as a heavy weapon having a weapon type as a rocket launcher. You can only have one active firework as ammunition but can have as much as twenty fireworks as a reserve.
The firework launcher can be bought for $65,000 and unlocked at Rank 1. In Grand Theft Auto Online, the weapon’s ammunition is actually more expensive compared to that of regular rocket launchers so it’s best to say that this weapon is better off for displays. Especially when aimed towards the sky, since the firework would explode revealing its little tacky display.
Strategy
Firework launchers are just like your regular rocket launchers but deal less more damage compared to them. When fired, they release their rocket, in this case, their firework, and explodes on impact. Remember that the first obstacle the firework hits will cause it to explode. So targeting your enemy behind a lot of obstacles would prove to be quite difficult. It’s best to use this weapon in clear areas where you can clearly see your target without any obstructions hindering your aim.
Be careful with your firework launcher though as improperly aiming it and hitting obstructions near you would damage your health greatly. Aiming your launcher to the ground would also result in the same result, obviously. As launchers usually do area of effect damage, aiming your launcher to multiple clumped enemies would result to damaging all of them that is covered by the blast radius of the firework that exploded.
