This article contains a guide on the Personalized Radio (PC) for Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5). It includes the method, and settings on how to run it in the game.
Personalized Radio
One of the perks for playing on the PC is that it provides players with multiple ways to personalize their gameplay. With the advent of skilled mods, players may also prefer to alter the playlist on their in-game Radio during the most mundane of activities. Fortunately, it is possible to configure the sound coming out from the vehicle by adjusting the contents of the folder to match your personal tastes.
In order to do this, copy the desired songs then locate the User Music Folder of your game. It should look something similar to this: (C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\User Music)
To force the game to play the song immediately, use the auto scan feature once you start the game.
Apart from this little novelty, it is possible to set a certain setting for your playlist. Feel free to select either playing them in sequence, shuffled, or incorporate it to the mixture of the radio’s playlist. The latter adds a more radio touch, combining with the intermissions and commercials to boot.
By entering the paused menu, it is possible to get the songs to run sequentially matching the order they were listed in the folder, or have the game form a playlist around it.
