Dunba Taag Shrine Walkthrough
Dunba Taag Shrine is southwest from Hebra Tower. Head to the bottom of Tanagar Canyon. You’ll find it in the canyon’s bend, south of Tama Pond.
First Phase
Once inside the shrine, bring Stasis with you. In the first room, cast Stasis on the cogwheel. That way, the platform stays fized and remains perfectly horizontal. This ensures that the boulder rolling down the ramp will hit the pressure switch on the left. Thus, this opens the door. However, if the boulder only presses the switch slightly, repeat the method until the switch is fully activated. But you can also try hitting it with a heavy weapon such as an Iron Sledgehammer or a Broadsword to check if it budges.
Second Phase
Next, in the second room, take a left as you enter. Move close to the closed gate near the abyss. When you get there, throw a few bombs towards the rock cubes to make them fall. When they do, they reveal a pressure switch behind them. Next, pick up one of the nearby barrels. When you do so, drop it on a pile of rocks near the abyss. However, your goal is to cast Stasis on the barrel. Then, hit it with a two-handed weapon such as Iron Sledgehammer or a Broadsword as much a s you can. That way, there’s enough energy to press the s witch into the wall and raise the nearby gate. When it does, grab the chest inside.
Third Phase
Staying on the same side of the large room, head to the next section. Drop into the pit and push the boulder to the bottom of the slope. Then, drop two bombs at its base: one remote, one cube. After that, cast Stasis on the boulder and detonate the two bombs to propel the boulder onto the switch. This opens the nearby gate leading to another chest.
Fourth Phase
Finally, go to the far end of the large room. Repeat the trick with the barrels. Drop one close to the platform’s edge before casting Stasis and smacking it senseless. The barrel needs to hit full speed against the large rock slab to make it fall. In other words, hit the barrel until the arrow turns red. Two-handed weapons such as an Iron Sledgehammer or a Broadsword can make a big difference.
Once you succeed, walk up to the altar. Speak with Dunba Taag and get your well-deserved Spirit Orb.
