Farming Rupees in the Early Stage

This section covers a recommended strategy on Farming Rupees in the Early Stage in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It involves the minimum requirements, Farming Method, and Cooking Method through the Mini-Game Deer Hunting.

Requirements

  • Reach Hateno Village
  • Spear
  • a Bow and Arrows/ or Remote Bomb Rune

Method

Head to Hateno Village then look for Danz under the stable. Talk to him to start a short mini-game which requires you to hunt down wild animals for 1 minute.

As soon as the game begins, immediately defeat the First Buck you encounter on your left. Focus on the Bucks and snipe them with well-placed headshots. If you catch one of them coming close, draw the spear out quickly and stab it. You will eventually gain a substantial amount of Raw Prime Meat in this way.

Alternatively, if for some reason you lack Rupees to purchase arrows, simply arm yourself with the Remote Bomb Rune, aim at the concentrated sections of the map then detonate to obtain Meat.

Cooking

After obtaining a huge haul of Raw Prime Meat, begin to Cook them. Since the cap is 5 materials at a time, using 5 at a time to produce Meat Skewers for you to sell will obtain the highest profit. They will sell for 210 Rupees a piece.

At this point, to benefit from the method, you should first spend the money on Arrows to stock up on another hunt. Repeat this process many times and you will eventually be geared enough for the initial stage.

This Method not only provides you with Rupees, but it also allows you to practice lining up those Arrow shots.
