Jitan Sa’mi Shrine Walkthrough – Spring of Wisdom
Jitan Sa’mi Shrine has a bit of preparation before heading to the shrine. Make sure you have plenty of spicy food to improve your Cold Resistance should it be too low. For this shrine, it’s on the top of Mount Lanaryu. Approach the Spring of Wisdomat the summit to discover a corrupted dragon!
If you want to open this shrine, you’ll have to destroy the corruption of the dragon. Shoot an arrow into one of its large eyes. After that, it’ll take off. Climb to the highest point on the mountain. When you get there, aim for one of the eyes from below.
If you want to make your life easier, use extra wind and the Paraglider to follow the dragon. If you’re using the bow while paragliding, you’ll get a moment of slow motion. This makes it easier to aim and land your shots.
After shooting each corrupted eye, the dragon retreats lower down the mountain. Follow it until it stalls and enters a holding pattern. Then, it will start circling the area. That’s when the eyes open up again.
After the corruption is cleared, put the dragon out of its misery with one final arrow. With that, collect the scale. Drop the scale then into the water at the Spring of Wisdom. When you do so, the door to the shrine open.
Similar tot he final Shrine in the Dueling Peaks Region, the real challenge is just opening the shrine.There’s an optional chest with the Frostspear. When you’re done, go on your merry way to speak with Jitan Sa’mi. After that, grab the Spirit Orb to finish the shrine.
