Game Difficulty in Metroid Dread
Metroid Dread features two difficulty modes which are Normal and Hard. The former is the game’s is set automatically after starting a new game for the first time. Hard, meanwhile, is unlocked after beating the game once on Normal mode.

Clearing the game under Hard Mode let you unlock new Ending Reward artwork in the Gallery. If you want to unlock all of them, try to beat the game under 4 hours.
