To perform a Dash Melee, press the X button (counter) while dashing to execute a jumping uppercut. Note that the Dash Melee will deal damage to enemies, making it a good aggressive option when initiating combat against enemies.

Action Input
Dash Melee Tilt the left stick left or right and press the X button.

Dash Melee covers a good distance away from where you began the move, allowing you to take out more than one enemy in one go. Performing the Dash Melee as a counter also causes enemies to drop more items.

Tips for Dash Melee

Observe enemy movement.

Countering enemies using Dash Melee requires some knowledge of their behavior and attacks. Try to familiarize yourself with certain tells to help you time Dash Melee counters more accurately.

Know when to use it.

Training yourself to know when to use Dash Melee and when not to is as important as being able to pull it off. Get comfortable with the speed and distance traveled when performing Dash Melee to know if you should close the gap or pepper foes from afar instead.
