Details on Each Ending
Ending A (Call Her Back)
This is the ending that plays after clearing the first playthrough route. Kaine will be playable afterwards in the second route. New events and encounters are also unlocked.
Ending B (Lingering Memories)
This is the ending that plays after clearing the second playthrough route. The one-handed sword Iron Pipe is automatically obtained in the beginning of the third playthrough route.
Ending C (Thank You)
This is the ending that plays if you choose to kill Kaine after defeating her. You must have collected all 33 types of weapons beforehand which includes those obtained in 15 Nightmares. Defeat the Shadowlord to unlock the fight with Kaine.
Ending D (Something Very Special)
This is the ending that plays if you choose to sacrifice yourself for Kaine. You must have collected all 33 types of weapons beforehand which includes those obtained in 15 Nightmares. Defeat the Shadowlord to unlock the fight with Kaine. Be careful of choosing this option as doing so will erase all of your game data, though only temporarily, after the ending.
Ending E (????)
This new ending is unlocked by viewing Ending D (which temporarily erases your save files). When you start a new game again, you must progress to The Aerie to begin the Ending E story route. After clearing the new story route and watching Ending E, you must answer “Yes” to the final question to get back your save that was deleted in Ending D.
