Walkthrough

Junk Heap

1	Head to Gideon’s forge. Go inside and talk to him twice to get Iron Will and B2 Passcode.
2	Enter the Junk Heap factory and head for the elevator to the east.
3	Access the elevator and go to B2.

Junk Heap – B2

1	Move east and destroy the turret along the path.
2	Go through the door and take out the robots and turrets inside.
3	Pick up a bomb from one of the turret’s positions and use it to destroy the barrier blocking the door on the north wall of the corridor.
4	Go through the door and make your way to the far end of the map north (towards the M-shaped route on the map). You can go through the rooms to the east if you want to kill robots and obtain materials but you do not have to.
5	Pass through the M-shaped route while killing the robots that are patrolling the area. Be careful not to fall off the open steam vents or you will automatically return near the starting point of the M-shaped route.
6	Continue following the path until you reach a large room. You will need to clear out the robots that will ambush you there, including a large one that appears last to get the Memory Alloy.
7	Make your way back to the elevator and return to B1.
7	Return to Gideon’s forge.

Junk Heap – Nier’s Village

1	Enter Gideon’s forge and talk to him to receive the restored Iron Will.
2	Talk to Popola.

Strategy

Farm for Materials.

Many of the rooms at Junk Heap – B2 are ambush points where you will be attacked by robots and turrets. Killing the enemies here allow you to obtain weapon upgrade materials and other useful items that are only found in the Junk Heap.
