Minigun Guide
The Minigun is a Heavy Weapon in Grand Theft Auto V. In this installment, the weapon is dyed grey and is stands smaller compared to its predecessors.
Strategy
In comparison to the previous Minigun in the games, it comes loaded with the ammunition. In this way, it removes the need to reload. To make it more efficient, it is recommended to extend the rounds capacity. The maximum number of rounds is 9,999, a feature attainable upon reaching the Maximum level of the Character’s Shooting Skill. Judging its fire-rate, it sports a 3,000 rounds per minute, which is double than one of its predecessors. This is however balanced by the lower damage per shot, being inferior to the former. In order to make up for this, be sure to catch any unlucky enemies in its line of fire to spray them with the bullets.
If you spray the bullets on vehicles, it is possible to set them on fire by dealing damage to the engine. The downside to this heavy weapon is that despite its raw power, this is at the expense of sacrificing aiming and cover. To capitalize on its offense, be sure to draw it against waves of enemies, and motor vehicles for grounded; or as an anti-air against the soaring planes and helicopters.
