The Rocket Launcher is a Heavy Weapon in Grand Theft Auto V. It is a portable anti-tank weapon that is mounted on the shoulder when firing. It requires explosive warheads to function.
Strategy
Inspired by the RPG-7, the Rocket Launcher when compared to its predecessors has higher damage at the cost of a reduced accuracy. Firing a warhead is capable of obliterating anything that it makes direct contact with. Other than that the splash damage can affect those within the radius of the blast.
When in combat, it is deemed as a powerful heavy weapon. It can serve as an anti-air by felling Helicopters from a distance when shot accurately. However, it excels in dealing with armored vehicles as a warhead is capable of them. Moreover, exposing them to splash damage can make quick work of their tough outer plating.
