Character Overview
Aqua becomes playable in the Land of Departure and Keyblade Graveyard. She can be controlled during the boss battle against Vanitas and the encounter against Terra-Xehanort.
Abilities
| Name | Effect |
|---|---|
| Aerial Recovery | Press the circle button after taking damage in the air to right yourself. |
| Barrier | Press the square button to guard against attacks from all directions. |
| Counter Blast | Press the X button after a successful block to send surrounding enemies flying. Reprisal ability. |
| Scan | See the remaining HP of enemies. |
| Assist Friends | Use healing items and magic on friends. |
| Magic Lock-On | Automatically lock on to targets when attacking with magic. |
| Combo Master | Continues combos even if your swings miss the enemy. |
| Reprisal Boost | Increase the damage you deal with reprisals by 50%. |
| Second Chance | Always retain at least 1 HP if you are hit while you have 2 HP or more. |
| Withstand Combo | Always retain at least 1 HP if you are hit while you have 2 HP or more. You will remain protected throughout the enemy’s combo. |
| Damage Control | Halve the damage you take when your HP is at 25% or below. Stack the ability to increase the effect. |
| Damage Syphon | Recover MP each time you take damage. Stack the ability to increase its effect. |
| MP Hastega | Recharges MP 30% faster when depleted. Stack the ability to increase its effects. |
| Leaf Bracer | Always finish casting recovery magic, even if you are hit by attacks in the process. |
| Treasure Magnet | Automatically draw in and collect prizes. Stack the ability to increase the effect. |
| High Jump | Leap high into the air. The longer you hold the circle button, the higher the jump. |
| Doubleflight | Press the circle button while in midair to jump a second time. |
| Air Slide | Tilt the left analog stick and press the square button while in the air to air dash and evade attacks. |
| Cartwheel | Evasive maneuver unique to Aqua. |
