Kingdom Hearts 3’s Release Date
The release date for Kingdom Hearts 3 has been announced! The game will be releasing in North America and the European Union on January 29th, 2019. This comes four days after its Asian release on January 25th. It had been originally announced as releasing within 2018, however, was later delayed by a couple of months.
Difference Between Regions
The game releases in different times in the east in the west. While this might be disappointing for some, compared to previous Kingdom Hearts titles, the delay before its Western release is considerably shorter.
Any Chance of Further Delay?
On November 20th, Square Enix’s company Twitter announced that all of the game’s development work had been finished. As such, there is very little chance that the game will be delayed any further.
Reason for Previous Delay
In regards to being delayed past the originally announced release “within 2018,” Tetsuya Nomura stated that it was not due to any delays in production. The company instead wished to push the release date to a time when every country could release at roughly the same time.
