The ReMind DLC is expected to feature new playable characters and other story cutscenes not included in the base game. Parts of the trailer showcased players taking control of Riku, Aqua, and Roxas against various enemies encountered during the main story.
Sora was shown wielding the Oathkeeper Keyblade, one of Roxas’ signature weapons. He also seems to have access to a brand new form, presumably the Master Form from past Kingdom Hearts games.
A number of cutscenes, most notably the conversation between a young Xehanort and a hooded figure and one between Xigbar and Luxord, were included in the trailer. These story elements are of particular interest as they are said to be central to the series’ long-running narrative.
