Character Overview
Riku is playable in the Realm of Darkness and the Keyblade Graveyard. He is controllable during the Demon Tower boss battle at the Real of Darkness and during the fight against Ansem, Riku Replica, and Xigbar.
Abilities
| Name | Effect |
|---|---|
| Aerial Recovery | Press the circle button after taking damage in the air to right yourself. |
| Barrier | Press the square button to guard against attacks from all directions. |
| Counter Blast | Press the X button after a successful block to send surrounding enemies flying. Reprisal ability. |
| Assist Friends | Use healing items and magic on friends. |
| Scan | See the remaining HP of enemies. |
| Magic Lock-On | Automatically lock on to targets when attacking with magic. |
| Combo Master | Continues combos even if your swings miss the enemy. |
| Second Chance | Always retain at least 1 HP if you are hit while you have 2 HP or more. |
| Withstand Combo | Always retain at least 1 HP if you are hit while you have 2 HP or more. You will remain protected throughout the enemy’s combo. |
| Damage Control | Halve the damage you take when your HP is at 25% or below. Stack the ability to increase the effect. |
| MP Hastega | Recharges MP 30% faster when depleted. Stack the ability to increase its effects. |
| Leaf Bracer | Always finish casting recovery magic, even if you are hit by attacks in the process. |
| Treasure Magnet | Automatically draw in and collect prizes. Stack the ability to increase the effect. |
| High Jump | Leap high into the air. The longer you hold the circle button, the higher the jump. |
| Doubleflight | Press the circle button while in midair to jump a second time. |
| Air Slide | Tilt the left analog stick and press the square button while in the air to air dash and evade attacks. |
| Sonic Dodge | Evasive maneuver unique to Riku. |

| Dark Firaga | Fires a ball of dark flames that split into multiple fireballs. |
| Double Duel | Team up with Mickey and attack the Demon Tower with two spinning attacks of light and darkness. Only usable during the Demon Tower boss battle. |

| Dark Divide | Fires multiple orbs of darkness at enemies. Charge at maximum to use salvo and shoot additional barrages. |
