Chaas Qeta Shrine Walkthrough
Chaas Qeta Shrine is out in the Necluda Sea. It sits on a tiny island that’s visible from Hateno Village. Find a tiny wind boat near Hateno Bay/ Deepback Bay. After that, use a leaf to generate wind. This allows you to steer the boat towards Tenoko Island.
Before go there however, bring some powerful weapons. Why? Because this isn’t a jump puzzle. Instead of trying to use your brains to solve a puzzle, you’ll face a Scout Guardian. It has 3000 HP and can pack a lot of damage. Wait for the Guardian to jump away and prepare a spin-attack. When it comes charging wildly with all its weapons spinning, hide behind the pillar. This stuns it and gives you time to attack.
Since this opponent can kill you a single strike, it’s okay to wait until you’ve acquired the Master Sword. This shrine is basically housing a Mini Boss. However, you can also try using ice-weapons to freeze it. After freezing it, attack it with your strongest weapon. Combo it down and breaking the ice deals triple damage. If it’s using the spinning blue laser, use wind to paraglide over it and smash it from above.
After that, save pillars for the near-end of the battle. The guardian will shoot explosive beams at you. When it charges up, start running against the circle. Attack when it’s charging and then back off when it’s about to beat you down.
When you finally defeat the Guardian, grab the weapons and the chest. Inside the chest, you’ll get some Climbing Gear. After that, access the altar and talk to Chas Qeta for your Spirit Orb.
