Daag Chokah Shrine Walkthrough – The Lost Pilgrimage

To begin the Shrine Trial, head to the Northwest edge of the Great Hyrule Forest to discover the Shrine.

Note: This Shrine is part of the Korok Trials Side Quest.

Head to Korok Forest and talk to Chio to start on the Korok Trials. To begin this particular Shrine Trial, locate Tashio at the Northwest end of Korok Forest.

Follow the Korok – Oaki

Your task is to pursue after the tiny Korok named Oaki. To start, perform a Crouch-Walk as it emulates Oaki’s pace as well as prevent you from making noise that will arouse Oaki’s suspicion. If you have some items that boost Stealth on hand, now is the time to use them.

There are notable areas which you ought to keep a reasonable distance from Oaki, specifically: after you cross the path with the beehive to your right.

Make sure to have Oaki’s figure and ears caught on screen, this might require adjusting the camera angle a few times to continue the pursuit.

If it seems that you are about to lose sight of Oaki, bring up the Magnesis to get a grip on his figure. Keep in mind that doing so would be at the cost of losing your Crouch-walk, thus execute carefully. The magenta filter however will be a huge help in locating Oaki’s coordinates.

Don’t get ‘Stumped’

Eventually, the pursuit continues into a hollow tree trunk. Let Oaki lead the way as usual then stop at the end of the stump since there’s a chance to alert his attention if you keep going. Tilt the camera sideways to get him in your view.

Sometime later, he tries to beckon for help, do not approach him. Maintain a reasonable distance as you closely trail behind until he arrives at a shrine to celebrate. Head to the Shrine Terminal to find a treasure chest, open it then proceed to the altar.
