The Goddess Sword
The Goddess Sword is a weapon in Breath of the Wild that Link can use to defeat enemies. If you remember the past games, the Goddess Sword made its appearance in the Skyward Sword game. It returns back to Breath of the Wild with a relatively good attack power and a decent durability. However, the sword is not something easily obtainable. If you want the sword, you have to buy an Amiibo.
“A sword said to have once belonged to a hero of the sky. Its blade houses the fire of the goddess. When wielded, a strange yet heavenly breeze kicks up around you.”

Where to Get
- Use the appropriate Amiibo to get the sword.
Also have a goddess sword 28 power – but there is no special effect as implied by the in game description. Bugged? Forgotten?
If you do a charged attack it will cut surrounding grass and bushes (doesn’t hurt enemies), pretty unimpressive.
Do you need to complete the game to get amiibo weapons? I can’t seem to get the goddess sword off the ss amiibo only the green tunic set.
Random drop
You need one or two divine beasts freed before the the goddess sword appears in a chest and it’s a 1% drop rate
what does it actually.. do? so far as I can tell it’s just a normal reskinned broadsword. that ‘heavenly breeze’ thing makes me wonder though

Mine is 28 as well. Still trying to figure out what it does too.
Wasnt the Goddes Sword the actual Master Sword?
Yes, if I remember
It was, but it was a bit deeper than that. As you progressed through SS you could temper it into better and better swords, ending with the True Master Sword, but mainly I think the Goddess Sword existed to house Fi so she could annoy us more than Navi and Tatl put together.
Its probably made up to be honest
