Considered as a Mini-boss in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The Hinox is a groggy creature that is usually seen snoozing in its territory. If you tread quietly, you can go around without waking it up, unless you strike it with an attack. Its appearance is similar to a Bokoblin, save for its size and face that looks like a Cyclops.

Strategy
By nailing strikes while it’s asleep with a charged two-handed sword, you can deal heavy damage before it even gets the chance to fully wake up.
However, should you hope to deal even greater damage, it is advised to have some durable armor, and wield a multi-hit bow armed with Bomb Arrows. Creep slowly until you get a close view of its head, then align a shot to the eye. This should wake it up but only to eventually fall back again which exposes it to a follow-up combo or charged attacks.
Take advantage when it’s still under a trance, then consume a material that grants you to conceal yourself in stealth. You will be able to scale its back unharmed to loot its equipment, and even snatch the orb dangling around its neck.
Keep in mind that all but the Stalnox will also drop different kinds of Food Materials which are either useful ingredients for cooking or already cooked products.
