Kah Oreo Shrine Walkthrough
Kah Oreo Shrine is found on the southwest corner of the Tabantha region. It is to the west of the Rayne Highlands.
To get into the shrine, you’ll need to remove a large rock in the way. One way to do this is to use Stasis and move the rock out of the way. An easier method however would be to drop an octo balloon on the rock to lift it up. You’ll then be able to use the Paraglider to get to the entrance. Octo balloons can be found by defeating Octoroks which are fairly abundant in the game.
Then, get the Korok Leaf from the treasure chest and head up the ramp. When you get to the gate, stand in front of it and use the Korok Leaf to send a gust of wind on the windmill, then quickly dash through the gate before it closes. Proceed to the next room where you will need to defeat three Guardian Scouts. After you’ve dealt with them, go to the next room.
Make your way back up the upper floor and use the Korok Leaf on the windmill. This will cause a small platform carried by balloons to appear. Hop on and use the Korok Leaf to guide it. You’ll need to stop in the corner behind you to get a treasure from the chest. Then, proceed to the ledge on the other side of the room. From there, drop down and continue along the path. You will come up to another Guardian Scout. You can throw a bomb at it to kill it while also destroying the rock blocking the path.
You’ll soon come up to a large room. Go on and step on the pedestal, then shoot the windmill with a gust of wind from the Korok Leaf. You’ll be launched in the air. When you’re airborne, use the Paraglider and glide to the chest on the left, and then towards the upper ladder. Throw and detonate a bomb on the rock to open the updraft to take you to the top of the pillar.
Should you have activated the windmill using the Korok Leaf, it will make another platform carried by balloons to appear. Head for the chest nearby. Be careful of the spikes along the way as you head for the other side of the area. Use the windmill again to activate another windmill to launch you again and glide to the floor level ahead.
The next area requires you to destroy a large pillar of rocks. Use a bomb arrow or use the windmill that you can find in a small room. You can push the floating barrel there toward the blocks. When it is near the blocks, shoot it with a fire arrow. You’ll reveal another updraft that leads up to a chest with a key inside.
From there, glide to the ledge connecting the two rooms. You can open the last chest while going down the shaft that leads to the closed door. You’ll need to use the small key to unlock the door housing the altar.
You’ll obtain a Spirit Orb after completing the quest.
