Kam Urog Shrine Walkthrough – Trial of Passage
When entering the shrine, there’s a large circular device below that circles around Kam Urog shrine. Head down the slope and enter the obstacle. Upon arriving, you’ll find that it’s constantly moving in a clockwork fashion. However, watch out for the spiked balls along with the several platforms. Apparently, these are all tied to the moving structure. However, you’ll need to navigate through the dodging spikes. All that to get near a platform as it fixes itself. That way, you can climb it.
When the first large platform comes around, stay on it. Avoid the large spiked ball until you can run to the end of platform when it’s almost horizontal. At the end, jump towards the opening back outside the device to find a chest holding an Opal. Now, turn around. Wait for the small platforms to pass around you until you spot one with a small chest on the top. Jump towards it and quickly open it to get a Soldier’s Spear.
With that, return to the first platform. Wait until it’s horizontal. Jump to the gear in the middle. But from here, wait until another platform is horizontal on the other side. That way, you can jump to where another gear leads upwards. If you’re having trouble timing it, use the Stasis rune to stop time. In doing so, you’ll have enough time to get to the next gear.
Finally, you get to the top section. When you reach the top section, wait for a shorter platform. It’s going to form a staircase that will lead you to the top. If you’re not confident in your jumping skills, use the Stasis Rune to stop the gears. This lets you run up without worry. When you’re finally at the top, speak to Monk Kam Urog. With that, you finish the shrine and he gives you the Spirit Orb.
