Mezza Lo Shrine Walkthrough – The Crowned Beast

When you begin the trial for Mezza Lo Shrine, speak to Kass first. You’ll find him standing on the activation pad for the shrine. After speaking with him, start the quest.

As soon as the quest starts, you’ll have to tame a deer. Although if you have the stealth gear from Kakariko Village, you won’t have a big problem. If you don’t have that, the level 2 Stealth Elixir can work too. However, if you have none of those, take the deer by surprise. Head to the highest point of the hill before paragliding down. Once close, press A to mount it. Button mash L to calm it down and soon, you’ll have a Deer for a mount.

When you’re done with that, have the Deer trot towards the activation pad for Mezza Lo Shrine.

Once you get into the shrine, head towards the crystal. Hit it three times to have it align with the rotating block on the platform. When you do so, drop a bomb next to the crystal. But don’t detonate it yet. After that, jump onto the rotating block and then detonate the bomb. With that, the platform rotates for you to grab the chest in the shrine.

When you’re done, lift the chest using Magnesis and drop down with it to the ground floor. Lift the chest again and move it to the top of the floor switch in a fenced area. But this time, have it at 90 degrees from its original position. With that, this raises the door to the altar.

Now, return to the crystal and hit it three times. After that, head to the rotating platform but you have to hit the crystal another three times. To do so, use the Remote Bombs and detonate them. However, after bombing the crystal once, use Stasis on the laser and Magnesis to pull the block. Drop the block anywhere on the ground floor before shooting the crystal and bombing it. With that, you can finally make your way to the altar.

When you reach the altar, speak to Mezza Lo and he’ll give your Spirit Orb.
