Shee Vanath Shrine Walkthrough [Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild]

This article contains a guide on how to complete Shee Vanath Shrine.

Shee Vanath Shrine Walkthrough – Twin Memories

Upon entering Shee Vanath Shrine, you’ll find yourself in a room full of receptacles. Some receptacles have spheres and the others do not. Your task is to arrange the orbs in a specific way that allows both Shrines to activate.

In Shee Vanath, each row has five receptacles with a sphere. If you’re beside the pedestal and facing north, you should see the rows of receptacles before you. In this walkthrough, we’ll be addressing the arrangement from right to left with you facing the rows. The pedestal should be on your right side.

Green Square – you, purple square – pedestal/tablet; 1st row is the one directly in front of you and 1st column is on your right nearest to the pedestal/tablet.

For the first row, transfer the orb from the fourth receptacle to the third receptacle. The second orb on the second row, move the orb from the third to the fifth slot. However, you’ll notice that the second row also has another orb in the first receptacle. Grab that one and move to the third row before placing it in the second receptacle from the right. For the fourth row, grab the orb and place it in the fourth receptacle. And finally, for the last row – the orb should be in the first receptacle.

When you’re finished with that, the iron bars should go up. However, do note – memorize this. You’re going to need this for the next Shrine, Shee Vaneer. If you remember the arrangement, it should look like this: (right to left)

1st row: 3

2nd row: 1

3rd row: 2

4th row: 4

5th Row: 5

So, it’ll be 31245.

But don’t head to the iron bars just yet. Instead, head up the stairs where you see a lift going up and down. Take the lift up before paragliding to a hidden nook to grab the Serpetine Spear. Next glide down to the room formerly having iron bars blocking it. Climb the ladder and speak to monk Shee Vanath to gain your Spirit Orb.

  1. Whoever wrote this guide was wasted as hell. First of all, the patter is completely wrong. You have to rotate is by 90° counterclockwise and mirror it to get the correct pattern. Second, he counts the columns from the right, but for some reason on row 3 and 4 he counts is from the left. LMFAO!!!

  2. What? Why wouldn’t the first row be the actual first row rather than the one that happens to be in front of you in front? Terrible and confusing.

  3. This is shit. I finished it and I still can’t figure out what angle this was supposed to be from. Because it’s wrong.

    • Whoever wrote this guide really has no clear sense of directions. Glad I finished the puzzle before finding this awful guide.

  4. These instructions are impossible to follow. You never clearly indicate what the numbers mean, or in which direction they are numbered. Two, you clearly do not know the difference between rows and columns.
