Below are the locations of all playable hero characters and how to recruit them during the Dominion of Hate final chapter of Live a Live Remake (Live A Live 2022 HD-2D Remaster).

Character Recruitment Preparations

• Do not choose Oersted. Otherwise, you will trigger an alternate ending.
• As a suggestion, your chosen lead character must be the highest-level character among all hero characters.
• Preferably, pick a lead character that is harder to recruit such as Sundown Kid.

Character Recruitment Special Conditions

• Your party leader hero character cannot be swapped in the active party. Only recruited hero characters can be swapped.
• Some hero party members must be defeated in battle before they agree to join you which varies depending on your chosen main character.
• After getting the next three hero characters, you will swap one of them in order to recruit the fifth, sixth, and seventh hero characters. This doesn’t mean the second, third, and fourth hero character is not recruited anymore.
• If you want to set up your team after recruiting all the hero characters, return to their recruitment locations in order to get them back to your active party.
• There will be end-game dungeons that are also unlocked and will be accessible if you have the associated party member in your active party. The dungeon will serve as a way to obtain the ultimate weapon of each character apart from gaining levels enough to defeat Odio, the final boss.

Location	Go to Silent Wood. Proceed south of Silent Wood and reach the flower field.
How to Recruit	Talk to Pogo and chase him around. Find him in the trees three times and defeat him in battle. If you have Lei Kugo in your active party, recruit him automatically.

	Hong Hakka
Location	Found at the grave to the north of the mountain. You can only recruit one of them depending on who inherited the Earthen Heart Shifu’s techniques.
How to Recruit	Talk to Yun and recruit him automatically. Talk o Lei and defeat her in battle. Talk to Hong and give him 9 food items to consume. Get the food items such as Tufts of Balmgrass in the Condemned Village and from enemy drops.
Twilight of Edo	Oboromaru	★★★★★	★☆☆☆☆/★★★★★
Location	Go to The Archon’s Roost entrance. He is found by the sign near the entrance.
How to Recruit	Talk to Oboromaru by interacting with the seal. Defeat him in battle in order to recruit him.
Wild West	Sundown Kid	★★☆☆☆	★★☆☆☆
Location	Go to the second area of the mountains near the cabin (to the left of Hasshe’s home). Go to the southeast of the mountains. Go to the south signpost leading to the castle town. Go to the front of the throne room. Go to the left bedroom. Go outside the castle town gate.
How to Recruit	Talk to Sundown Kid and follow him.
Present Day	Masaru	★★☆☆☆	★☆☆☆☆
Location	Go to the Prison Castle. From the castle entrance, go left and pass through the doors.
How to Recruit	Talk to Masaru and defeat him. If you have Sundown or Cube as the main character, Masaru will cause him to join you without fighting.
Near Future	Akira	★★☆☆☆	★★★☆☆
Location	Go to Condemned Village Akira is sleeping on a bench west of the village.
How to Recruit	Talk to Akira. If you don’t trust him, defeat Akira in battle. If you trust him, recruit him automatically.
Distant Future	Cube	★☆☆☆☆	★★☆☆☆
Location	Go to the Castle. Cube is located atop the castle, near the balcony.
How to Recruit	Talk to Cube and give a battery. Acquire the battery on the mountains. Proceed northwest of the pathway leading to the cabin.
