The Memory card which you can get during the Distant Future Chapter of Live A Live Remake (Live A Live 2022 HD-2D Remaster). This item can be used to save your gameplay progress in a retro mini-game called Captain Square, which is located inside the Cogito Ergo Sum ship on the Recreation Room.

Play Distant Future Chapter: The Mechanical Heart

Note: The guide below may contain major spoiler from the game!

To get the Memory card, there will be a scene after Kirk and Kato going outside the Airlock to investigate something. An event happened while they were outside that will lead to Kirk’s death at the Medical Bay and all of the characters are gathered there.

After watching the scene, you can directly go into the crew members private chambers and look for Kirk’s Chamber, you can check the name room just next the door. You also need to input your name “Cube” to gain access inside the room. Talk to Kato to get a clue from the phase that Kirk loves, and then use the monitor next to his bed and type in the password: “Warp Seed” which gives a message to check at the foot his bed to finally get the Memory Card.

How to Play Captain Square

The first time that you will encounter this mini-game is when you were all gathered first in the recreation room, Kirk was busying playing this but he will let you try it out. There are 9 levels that you need to clear to complete the mini-game, Captain Square while using the character named Rover.

It’s quite important to get the memory card as to this game gets harder on each progressing level and it will save your time from starting it all over again. Once you acquired the memory card, you can play the game whenever you want.
