Recommended Earthen Heart Shifu disciple to train (Imperial China Chapter) in Live A Live Remake

Best Abilities	Pure melee attacker and tank. Useful innate abilities. In particular, melee abilities. High HP pool.

How to Recruit (Final Chapter)	Found at the grave to the north of the mountain. Talk to Hong and give him 9 food items to consume. Get the food items such as Tufts of Balmgrass in the Condemned Village and from enemy drops.

Which Earthen Heart Shifu disciple should you train?

Best Student: Yun Jou

Yun Jou is the greatest option out of Shifu’s three students if you’re searching for someone to continue the story in the last chapter. All of Earthen Heart Shifu’s skills are inheritable by Yun Jou, and his leveling-up stat advantages will help you in the long run.

To level him up, though, you must put in the time, particularly while battling the game’s mini-bosses from the Imperial China chapter. You might need to grind in the Bamboo Forest to defeat Tiger foes there if you can’t defeat a certain mini-boss stage.

Optional Best Student: Lei Kugo

If you want a character with different skills and gameplay than Earthen Heart Shifu, Lei Kugo is your best option. Although you can inherit some of his skills, you still play as Lei most of the time. You’re an effective melee and ranged warrior who can harm foes.

Lei Kugo is the ideal choice if you want a female party member with a hit-and-run playstyle in your final cast of characters.

Alternate Student: Hong Hakka

If you merely want to fight the first phase’s final boss as an added challenge, Hong Hakka is an alternative option. The ability “Pork’s Second Cooking” is effective against a hard-to-beat part of the final boss, the Odio Mole, since it deals set damage and does not trigger its own ability “Revenge Storm”.
