Distant Future Walkthrough
The Ship – Level 2
1 | Gain control of Cube. Follow Kato and walk with him. Head into the Module Room so that Kato can register you as a new crew member of the ship. |

2 | After entering the computer room, an option where you can change the name “Cube” will be available as a state of the designation/name. |
3 | Kato will be leaving the computer room to test Cube’s analytical skills and find him around the ship. This part is where you can freely roam around and look into the room. Press the – button to access the Ship Map of the Cogito Ergo Sum. |
4 | Leave the room after the map tutorial and head to the upper right side, continue going straight up to see Kato. |
Cryogenic Stasis Room
1 | Kato will be giving you the task of waking up all the crewmates so they can all meet you. Head inside the metal door located on the right side from Kato. |

2 | After reaching inside, you may interact with the consoles by pressing A button to examine. You need to open up all the crewmates’ capsule. |
3 | Once all of the capsules have opened up, Kato will enter the room and will be thanking you for the help. Everyone will be introducing their selves to the new crewmate, Cube. |
Recreation Room
1 | Follow the door where all the crewmates when into. View the Ship Map to locate the recreation room to know where you need to go to. |

2 | Head upwards the area and go down to the lower left side, and enter the room where all the crewmates are gathered. |
3 | Interact with Huey and select “I would like to read it.” He will tell you about the book’s story and how he is very interested in it. |
4 | After that, Kato will teach Cube how to make coffee. Follow him into the coffee machine and interact with it to make a black coffee. |
5 | Huey will approach you on the coffee machine and he will try the coffee you made. A little conversation with Kato and Huey will play in this scene. (Coffee x1). |
6 | There is an option where you can make more coffee and speak with the other crewmates. But once you have approached Darthe, a cutscene where he will kick Cube and more conversation between the crewmates will play as the captain appears on the screen. |
7 | Everyone will leave the recreation room to do their tasks and you will be free to roam around the whole area. |
Video Game – Captain Space
1 | You may interact with the computer on the lower left part of the recreation room to play a retro video game called “Captain Space”. |

2 | Play the game, a tutorial will appear so that you get to know the gameplay and learn its mechanics. |
3 | Feel free to play the game as you want and you can quit anytime to explore the area as Cube. |
How to Play Captain Square
The first time that you will encounter this mini-game is when you were all gathered first in the recreation room, Kirk was busy playing this but he will let you try it out. There are 9 levels that you need to clear to complete the mini-game, Captain Square while using the character named Rover.
It’s quite important to acquire a memory card as to this game gets harder on each progressing level and it will save your time from starting it all over again.
Elevator – Level 1 – Level 3
1 | Once you exit the recreation room, head downwards the halls to locate the elevator. You can choose to go to Level 1 or Level 3. |

2 | If you choose to go the 1st level, you will find Kato and Huey there talking about someone. Head up north and there will be a small room where both of them are inside. |
3 | A call from Rachel and Kirk will appear shortly after you go inside, they will ask them to head to the bridge to fix something. |
4 | After being left in the console room, Darthe will enter and warn you not to touch anything. You can head out to follow Kato and Huey up to the Bridge on the 3rd level. |
The Bridge & Level 1
1 | Once you’ve reached the 3rd level, go into the right side area of the map to locate the bridge where all the crewmates are gathered and a cutscene will play once you interact with Rachel. |

2 | After that, you need to leave the bridge and head into the 1st level again to follow Kato. Enter the bottom room and a scene will play where Kirk and Huey are arguing. Shortly after that, Kirk and Kato will put on their space suit to investigate outside. |
3 | Head towards the bridge again, Rachel and Huey will guide Kirk and Kato while investigating outside the ship. Everything seems to be fine however, something happened to Kirk and lost his connection with Rachel. |
The Bridge – Medical Bay
1 | After the cutscene with Huey and Rachel, you need to go to the Medical bay. Use the elevator and select Level 2, continue the path onto the south right part area and enter the room. |

2 | Another cutscene will play as all the characters are gathered and trying to help Kirk with his condition. Darthe asked Kato to call for the captain and left the room. |
3 | You can interact with the characters in the room but Rachel will leave shortly, you need to talk to Darthe to continue the story. |
4 | An explosion was heard and Kato came back to tell him he wasn’t able to contact the Captain. You will be asked to stay with Rachel as they are investigating on the ship. |
The Bridge – Recreation Room
1 | Exit the Medical bay and head to the elevator to go to Level 1. Check on the small room on the cargo and talk to Darthe. |

2 | After that, use the elevator again to go to Level 3 and interact with Huey on the bridge. Another scene will play and you will all be located inside the Recreation room. |
3 | Give the (Coffee x1) to Huey and he will thank you for it. The ship captain will appear on the screen and a scene will play again. |
Kirk’s Quarters
1 | Leave the Recreation room and use the south door to exit and to enter the private rooms of all crew members. Look for Kirk’s room located on the upper left. |

2 | You can double-check the room to see if it is Kirk’s room, you can enter by registering your name. Once you have entered, you need to talk to Kato to get a clue from Kirk’s favorite phrase. |
3 | Interact with the computer right next to the bed and it will ask you for a password, you can input the password “warp speed“. |
4 | A message will pop up and you can check the lower part of the bed to get (Memory Card x1). Note: This is the memory card for the retro mini-game called Captain Square, you can use the memory card to save your gameplay progress. |

Spoilers Below!
To get the Memory card, there will be a scene after Kirk and Kato going outside the Airlock to investigate something. An event happened while they were outside that will lead to Kirk’s death at the Medical Bay and all of the characters are gathered there.
After watching the scene, you can directly go into the crew members’ private chambers and look for Kirk’s Chamber, you can check the name room just next the door. You also need to input your name “Cube” to gain access inside the room. Talk to Kato to get a clue from the phase that Kirk loves, and then use the monitor next to his bed and type in the password: “Warp Seed” which gives a message to check at the foot of his bed to finally get the Memory Card.
Live A Live Remake How to Get Memory Card
Airlock – Medical Bay – Kirk’s Quarters – Cargo Hold
1 | Leave Kirk’s room and go to Level 1 – Airlock to talk to Huey. |

2 | Go back to the Medical bay and check on Kirk’s body. After entering the room the game music will change and you need to go back to Kirk’s room to inform Kato about the missing body. |
3 | All of the characters will be inside Rachel’s room and a cutscene will play. You need to go to the Level 1 – Airlock again to follow up with Rachel, another scene will play as you reached the airlock. |
4 | Leave the airlock and you will hear a scream and cry, go to the Cargo Hold container and interact on the computer inside the operating room, you will notice that it is now empty. |
5 | After leaving the operating room in the cargo hold, a Behemoth will quickly approach you and you need to avoid it at all cost. |
6 | Go back inside the Airlock and inform everyone about the enemy, another scene will play and everyone will be in the recreation room. |
Recreation Room
1 | After the event, all of the crew members are now inside the recreation room. Note: You can also play with Captain Square since it is located in the same room. |

2 | You can make a Coffee and give it to Rachel. Another scene will play as the captain will appear on the screen and it was quite suspicious. |
3 | Everyone will leave the room and you need to catch up to them by exiting on the same direction. |
Hallway – Duty Module Room – Captain’s Room
1 | Kato will ask you to look up for the Interface room that will open up the Captain’s room. Go to the Level 2 “Duty Module Room”. |

2 | Check on the map for the location of the room. Note: Behemoth is roaming around so you need to avoid it and dash into the Duty Module Room. |
3 | After checking into the Duty Module Room, interact with it to get a password: OAKFDE. |
Cryogenic Stasis Room – Captain’s Room
1 | Head into the Cryogenic Stasis Room to find Kato and report to him the password for the Captain’s room. |

2 | Another scene will play as you all try to go into the Captain’s room. You will get a (Powered Prybar x1) from Kato. |
3 | As you enter the captain’s room, another scene will play between Kato and Darthe. Before you leave the room, you can check on the monitor near the door to play a message. |
Corporal’s Room – Captain’s Room
1 | Go down the hallways and move into the corporal’s chamber. As you head into the hallway near this room, an alarm will go off and you need to input your name to enter. |

2 | Upon entering, you can interact with the monitor on the left side to get a message about his mission. |
3 | Go back to the Captain’s Room to talk with Kato and inform him about the mission notice. Another scene will play in this event. as the power went out. |
Hallways
1 | After the cutscene and leaving the room with Kato, you will be pushed by the Behemoth. You need to run from it and you can use the power prybar into the closed doors to escape. |

2 | Take the elevator and head to level 1 while avoiding the Behemoth. Dash into the elevator again and go to level 3 to interact with the familiar unit at the side of the hallway. |
3 | Go back to the elevator and go to level 2, dash while looking for Kato. Head into his room to check on him. |
Kato’s Room
1 | After entering the room, you will notice a robot that is very similar to Cube. Shortly after that, Darthe will enter the room and a scene will play. |

2 | Interact with the robot and talk to Kato. Note: There’s an option where you can review on your memory bank to remember the name, Roundy. You need to input the name as Roundy. |
3 | Another scene will play as Darthe kicked the robot off and killed it after saying a code “0D-10”. |
4 | Kato will inform Darthe about the main computer, Decimus and you are now together with Darthe to check on it while a scene will play. You need to head down again to talk with Kato. He will say that you can get inside of it because you’re a robot. |
Main Computer Room – Duty Module Room – Recreation Room
1 | Return to Corporal Darthe and inform him on how to defeat the 0D-10. He will give you a (Communicator x1). |

2 | Head to the Duty Module Room to talk to Darthe. After that head into the Recreation Room and use the Communicator to speak with Darthe. Interact with the mini-game to try reaching to the enemy. |
3 | Another scene will play as Darthe was attacked inside the terminal room after connecting you to the game. |
Boss Battle: 0D-10
1 | After the scene, you will be inside the game battling with the OD-10. You need to reposition Cube on the corner to prepare your skill for the boss. |

2 | You can use your skill, Maser Cannon to quickly eliminate the boss. This skill deals massive damage and it can also damage the small enemies around him. |
Recreation Room
1 | After defeating the boss, a scene will play as the 0D-10 has been defeated. After that, a scene with Darthe will play as he enters the room. |

2 | At this point you can check around the area and if you’re done, you need to make some coffee and another scene will play. |
