How to Get Cosmic Equipment in Live A Live Remake
Cosmic equipment are some of the best pieces of gear in Live A Live Remake (Live A Live 2022 HD-2D Remaster) which consist of the Cosmic Helm (headgear), Cosmic Mail (armor), Cosmic Glove (glove), Cosmic Boots (footwear), and Cosmic Ring (accessory). All pieces of Cosmic equipment grant immunity to Petrify status, which is incredibly useful against the game’s final boss (Final Chapter).

Where to Get Cosmic Gear
Cosmic equipment are all obtained by defeating several optional bosses during the game’s Final Chapter (Dominion of Hate). These bosses are found in various locations and can only be challenged by meeting specific conditions while exploring the game’s last few areas.
Recommended Order of Getting Cosmic Equipment
Below is the recommended order of obtaining each piece of Cosmic gear, including the requirements to make each optional boss that drops them appear and strategies to beat them.
Cosmic Mail

The Cosmic Mail is obtained by defeating Death Prophet. To make the boss appear, you must run or teleport away from a random encounter 100 times. Afterwards, Death Prophet will call you out and initiate a timer. Flee or teleport again 5 times to trigger the boss fight.
It is recommended to have recruited Sundown Kid as his Hurricane Shot (level 16 technique) is very effective against the boss. You can also lure Death Prophet with one character while another ally stands diagonally above his tail and attacks it. Doing so will cause the Death Prophet to immediately self-destruct, ending the battle. Afterwards, you will get the Cosmic Mail.
Cosmic Ring

The Cosmic Ring is acquired by defeating Amlucretia in the Dungeon of Instinct. Once you obtain the Gold Topknot, head to his pond cave and talk to him. During your dialogue with Amlucretia, say “Yes” to the first question. Then, show him the Gold Topknot. Afterwards, say “Yes” to his last two questions. This will cause him to attack you.
Amlucretia is not particularly difficult. Use Oboromaru’s debuff attacks and keep damaging him with your strongest attacks. Once you defeat Amlucretia, you will get the Cosmic Ring.
Cosmic Glove

The Cosmic Glove is obtained by defeating Jaggy Egg in the Dungeon of Time. To make the boss appear, wait for the bell in the area to ring 8 times (approximately 2 minutes and 30 seconds after entering the dungeon).
Jaggy Egg uses paralysis and poison attacks during the fight so prepare to use healing items to keep your party alive. Overall, just stay out of range of their attacks and use techniques from a distance and they should go down easily.
Cosmic Helm

The Cosmic Helm is acquired by defeating Erauqs in the Dungeon of Intelligence. Interact with it in the dungeon’s first puzzle room (the one with the red floor tiles) to trigger the boss fight.
Erauqs can be dealt with very easily by using Oboromaru’s Deepest Dark technique. Once you have triggered the petrify effect, the battle will end instantly. Afterwards, you will get the Cosmic Helm.
Cosmic Boots

The Cosmic Boots are obtained by defeating Head Plucker. After going north and examining the statue in Odio’s room, go down the stairs. Odio will appear. Then, head down the stairs again and head back to the area near the chapter’s starting location. As you move around the area, Head Plucker will attack you.
Head Plucker is undoubtedly the hardest of those that you need to beat to get each piece of Cosmic gear. He will only use one attack that deals massive damage to any target hit by it. A good strategy is to assign one character with high HP to act as a shield for Head Plucker’s attacks. Then, have Cube or Akira focus on healing the shielding character while the rest of the party uses debuffs and offensive techniques to hack away at the boss’ HP. Upon defeating Head Plucker, you will get the Cosmic Boots.
