Near Future Walkthrough
City Park Part 1
| 1 | After waking up on the park bench, take control of Akira and read the minds of the people. |

| 2 | Go east and leave the park. See a group of punks and read the mind of the guy on the left. |
| 3 | Defeat the punks. Then, read Lawless Matsu’ mind in order to move forward. |
Chibikko House Part 1
| 1 | Enter the house and proceed to the rightmost north door. |

| 2 | Enter the green door located on the left side. Acquire an item (Show Cap x1) on the northeast side of the room. |
| 3 | Return to the main hall and proceed to the lower right room. Speak to Watanabe. |
| 4 | Make your way to the south door west of the Chibikko House entrance. Talk to Watanabe and watch the television nearby while waiting for him to come back. Get an item from him (First Aid x1). |
| 5 | Enter the south door located on the west side of the house. Read the mind of Kaori and leave the house. |
Toei’s Place Part 1
| 1 | While on the way to Toei’s place, you will encounter Crusader enemies. |

| 2 | For now, it is best to ignore battles intentionally unless you encounter them along the way. It is better to level when you already have equipment. |
| 3 | Reach Toei’s residence which is a brown building in the southwest corner of the town. |
| 4 | Proceed to the bathroom door and examine. Watch a brief cutscene and head to the transporter downstairs. |
| 5 | Speak to Toei and return to Chibikko House. |
Chibikko House Part 2
| 1 | Return to Kaori and look for a power outlet (located in the southwest corner of the room). |

| 2 | Plug an object and read the mind of the robot inside the room. |
| 3 | Taroimo, the robot, will join your party. If you picked up power part drops from previous encounters, use them on the robot. |
| 4 | Speak to Toei and read his mind again. Then, leave the room and leave the house. |
| 5 | Taroimo does not level but you can increase its HP by attaching power parts to him. Gain power parts by defeating crusader enemies. |
City Park Part 2
| 1 | Return to the town park located in the west corner of the city. |

| 2 | Talk to Lawless Matsu who is selling Taiyaki. You need to help him sell his food to customers. |
| 3 | When you charge the correct amount, you will acquire healing items as well. |
| 4 | Charge the Boy, 100 yen (Taiyaki x1) or 300 yen (Banana Crepe x1). |
| 5 | Charge the Woman, 300 yen (Banana Crepe x1) or 1,000 yen (Gutsy Taiyaki x1). |
| 6 | Charge the Man, 1,000 yen (Gutsy Taiyaki x1) or 10,000 yen (Misawa Taiyaki x1). |
| 7 | Charge the Old Man, 100 yen (Taiyaki x1) or 10,000 yen (Misawa Taiyaki x1). |
| 8 | After helping out Lawless Matsu, return to Chibikko House. |
Chibikko House Part 3
| 1 | When you arrive at the front of the house. see Kazu skipping his bedtime. |

| 2 | Give him a Gutsy Taiyaki in exchange for a piece of equipment (Glove x1). |
| 3 | Enter the house and proceed to the northwest room to check on the kids. |
| 4 | Similar to food selling, you will receive new items when giving out food items. |
| 5 | Give Akki a Taikyaki (Misanga x1). |
| 6 | Give Yuki a Misawa Taikyaki (Power Wrist x1). |
| 7 | Give Watanabe a Banana Crepe (Cap x1). |
| 8 | Assign the equipment received to Akira. |
| 9 | Approach Taeko and talk to her by going to the northeast laundry room. After she leaves, examine the spot in front of her previously and get some equipment (Director’s Boxers x1). |
| 10 | Enter the toilet room on the right and sit on the toilet. |
| 11 | Keep on getting off and back to the toilet to acquire some equipment randomly (Watanabe’s Boxers x1, Taeko’s Jeans x1, Taeko’s Stockings x1, Taeko’s Punch x1, and Taeko’s Panties x1). |
| 12 | After getting equipment as much as you can, return to Toei’s place. |
Toei’s Place Part 2
| 1 | Head downstairs and reach the bottom level. |

| 2 | Talk to Toei and reply “Yeah” to make him run upstairs |
| 3 | Follow him and speak to him again. Then, do the following: |
| 4 | Touch the pink statue (upper right of the room). |
| 5 | Read the book (in front of Toei, read it from the opposite side of the table). |
| 6 | Play the Xylophone (located on the table to your right). |
| 7 | Touch the Blue Mask (found on the wall behind Toei). |
| 8 | Offer a prayer to Buriki Daioh (proceed downstairs and look for the mech). |
| 9 | If Buriki Daioh does not respond after the prayer, repeat the process again. |
| 10 | Wash your hands (go to the sink next to the bathroom upstairs). |
| 11 | Sit on the toilet (enter the door beside the sink and walk straight up). |
| 12 | After doing these instructions, Toei will follow you. Then watch a cutscene. |
| 13 | Take control of Akira and interact with the five switches. Return to the first floor to speak to Toei again. |
Toei’s Item Creation and Upgrades
| 1 | After speaking to Toei, you can now upgrade the items you’ve acquired throughout the game. |

| 6 | Don’t upgrade your Cap since it has the highest defense. |
| 7 | Upgrade Napalm Bombs into robot accessories. Get Hiyokokko Canon x1, Kintoto Canon x1, Kotobuki Lacquer x1, and Stone Cannon x1. Plasma Spark x1 is optional since you can acquire it from other chapters. |
| 8 | Equip the new gears to Akira and Taroimo. Robot accessories can be equipped with Cube as well. |
Chibikko House Part 4
| 1 | Return and enter the Chibikko House. Wait for a scream and go outside. Read Taeko’s mind and a battle will commence. |

| 2 | After the cutscene, you will be at the south end of the town. Make your way south down the left pathway. |
| 3 | Follow the Crusaders you saw. Go south, east, and south again. |
| 4 | Keep following them and you will end up at the southern docks. |
| 5 | Run toward the Crusaders and defeat them. Then, read their mind. |
| 6 | Talk to Lawless Matsu and read his mind. |
| 7 | Go back to Chibikko’s House again. Proceed to the west room and read Kaori’s mind. |
| 8 | Exit again and level Akira up to Level 13 or higher. Also, make as many recovery items and additional equipment in Toei’s place. |
| 9 | If you’re ready, go to the research facility on the east end of the city. |
Research Facility
| 1 | Before talking to the guard, save your game. |

| 2 | Talk to the guards and answer “Nope”. They are similar to the Crusaders and it’s good to farm items from them. |
| 3 | Enter the building. Defeat more enemies. Then, use the escalator. |
| 4 | On the next screen, you will see two doors. Take the east door to reach the computer room with some items. The left door has enemies and you can level up more there. |
| 5 | Go back down using the escalator and choose the north door this time. Enter any south door and get the items inside the two lockers. Then, leave the room. |
| 6 | Make use of another escalator on the east side of the hallway. Keep moving until you find a room with a south door and escalator on either side. |
| 7 | Move down using the escalator on your right. You will see another room with a south door, a north door, and another escalator. Choose the north door and sit on the toilet. |
| 8 | Lawless Matsu will join your party. Equip him with gear such as Taeko’s punch and Shinju Shirt. Get his Rider Boots and equip it to Taroimo instead. |
| 9 | Leave the bathroom and enter the south door on your left. |
| 10 | Proceed to the unguarded door and inspect the four lockers. |
| 11 | Return to the guarded door and defeat the enemies. Inspect another set of lockers there. |
| 12 | Enter the next door and check the lockers. See the book on the wall and return to the room with two escalators. |
| 13 | Take the escalator on the lower right. Defeat enemies and go north using the door nearby. |
| 14 | Go down the escalator on your left and defeat enemies guarding the door. |
| 15 | Defeat Crusader RS x4 and Lariat No.2 x3. |
| 16 | Make use of Image abilities with Akira, any abilities from Taroimo, and the “Pissed Fist” from Lawless Matsu to eliminate multiple enemies at once. |
| 17 | Enter the door in the upper left. Then, see a hallway with three doors. Proceed to the right door and read the woman’s mind for a random battle that can increase your levels. |
| 18 | Go back and enter the left door. See a computer room and enter the next door. |
| 19 | Read the mind of the scientist on the lower left to acquire the VIP room number: F49F. |
| 20 | Return to the hallway and input the numbers and enter. |
| 21 | Defeat Liquid Human W1. |
| 22 | Attack the boss from behind or above with any physical-based ability. Another alternative is using Taroimo’s Kintoto Cannon and using “Goldfish Shot“. Make Akira heal and Lawless Matsu use “Pissed Fist“ |
| 23 | Return to Toei’s Place and read his mind. Move to the bar located in the northeast corner of the city. Read Lawless Matsu’s mind and exit. |
Chibikko House Part 5
| 1 | Return to Chibikko’s House. Speak to the director and enter. Talk to Taeko and enter every room, including the bathroom, to make the blocked door on the right open. |

| 2 | Enter and read Kaori’s mind and watch a cutscene. |
| 3 | After that, unequip Taroimo’s robot accessories and equipment. Equip the robot accessories and equipment to Akira since they will be carried over to the Final Chapter and for Cube’s gear. |
| 4 | Read Lawless Matsu’s mind. Then, travel to Odeo Temple in the north of the city. |
| 5 | Defeat multiple enemies and learn new abilities. |

Odeo Temple
