Adjust Song Difficulty
Rhythm games have a constant speed of music regardless of difficulty level. If you find it difficult to catch up, lower the difficulty. You can also adjust the difficulty when competing in dance tournaments.
Extend Groove Gauge with EX Solo

Use Freestyle A if you’re focused on clearing
If you’re focused on clearing songs regardless of the score, equip Freestyle A EX Solos. This will make it easy to finish songs even if there are mistakes on hitting notes since your Groove Gauge will fill more easily.
Use Freestyle C if you’re focused on timing
If you want to gain good to perfect scores, equip Freestyle C EX Solos. This will convert good note hits to perfect notes with exception of missed notes. This will also make the Groove Gauge longer.
