Sticky Bomb Guide
The Sticky Bomb is a Thrown weapon in Grand Theft Auto V. It is a plastic explosive which can either be thrown or planted onto vehicles before detonating. It comes at a price of $400 for standard play, and rises to $600 when bought online.
Strategy
Its mechanic differs between Story and Online Mode. For Online, it is possible to stick it onto players with the maximum planted active Bombs at 5, which pales in comparison to the Story Mode’s 20. The limit upon reaching the maximum amount will be indicated by a popup on screen.
Best employed as a substitute for Car Bombs during online play. To use it, swing the car door open and place the bomb to the interior. Using this trick conceals the location of the bomb and can fool players into thinking that the vehicle is safe to use.
Another alternative is to incorporate this weapon during drive-by tactics. Simply attach the thrown weapon onto other passing vehicles, however caution must be exercised to avoid being caught in the radius of the blast. When a car collides onto the vertical surface where the bomb is attached to, it will cause an explosion.
