Sora and the Gang Explore Monstropolis!
Kingdom Hearts 3 will take Sora, Donald and Goofy into the World of Monsters, Inc. called Monstropolis and meet characters like Sulley and Mike.

A New Keyblade Appears!
As seen in the trailer released at D23 Expo Japan 2018, a new Keyblade will appear in Kingdom Hearts 3. The Keyblade (likely named “Assault Claw”) seems to allow Sora to attack multiple enemies with its wide range when it transforms into twin yoyo-like weapons. It may also have other abilities in the full game that have yet to be seen.

What is Monsters, Inc.?

Monsters, Inc features a world of monsters whose jobs are to frighten children. The story revolves around monsters Sulley and Mike who unknowingly bring a human child into the monster world. Faced with the consequences of their mistake, they must work together to suppress a riot breaking out in Monstropolis as a result of the child.
Sora, Donald and Goofy “Monsterized”
The Kingdom Hearts trailer showcased the transformed appearances of Sora, Donald, and Goofy in Monstropolis. Whether Sora and his comrades will gain other abilities in these forms has yet to be seen.
