Treats and sweets for spirits!
Giving your spirits treats can improve their stats and their moods towards you. By doing this, your spirits are more loyal to you and have better stats. Having better stats means having better chances in combat and you won’t be dying as much. Some of these treats can be bought while others have to be farmed.

Reward your spirits with a treat
Your spirits are like your pets. They watch over you in battle and you fight alongside them in the Command Deck. The beauty of having these treats is that you can cover up for any missing attributes you may have. Many of these items are sold in shops in Traverse Town and the Moogle Shop. Also, these items can cover up for some missing cash. But make sure you have enough treats remaining for your spirit.
