Ke’nai Shakah Shrine Walkthrough [The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild]

This article contains a guide on how to complete Ke'nai Shakah Shrine.

Ke’nai Shakah Shrine Walkthrough

Ke’nai Shakah shrine is inside Ultria Grotto, to the northeast of Zora’s domain. The real trick here is actually trying to actually find the thing. However, it isn’t hard as soon as you get the hang of it.

When looking for Ke’nai Shakah shrine, you have to look for a destructible rock wall. It’s just beneath the top of the cliff. However, you must destroy that wall with a bomb arrow from the opposite cliff. You can either use an updraft or create your own updraft to fly up and bomb the wall.

Once you do, you can enter Ke’nai Shakah Shrine.

Once inside, you’ll realize that it’s another test of strength. However, it’s a minor one. You’ll have to fight against the Guardian Scout III. Similar to Namika Ozz Shrine, you’ll have to beat it down. Thankfully, you have no weapon restrictions in terms of fighting it. Plus, you also have some pillars to stun it with.

Unfortunately, this particular guardian has 1,500 HP. Thankfully, it’s not as big as the one from Chaas Qeta Shrine or Tutsuwa Nima Shrine. Similar to the other guardians, it has charging and spinning attack. Dodge the spinning attacks to release a flurry rush or use the columns to stun it. Once it’s stunned, fall back and wait for it to attack again.

When hit it at half life, the guardian will soon shrink down and use a laser. You can use the Korok Leaf or create a fire that causes an updraft. That way, you can float up and drop down to give it a jumping attack.

However, once it reaches the end of its health, it’ll try one last attack. It’ll charge up a laser attack and try to blast you down. If the creature’s health is low enough then, rush it down and kill before it fires another laser. But if the health is too high, run and dodge the multiple shots.

After killing it, grab your chest and then speak to Ke’nai Shakah. When you finish speaking to the monk, he’ll grant you your Spirit Orb.

  1. For those that got here before doing the Zora divine beast, there is a rock on the far ledge. You can use a hammer found in the area to hit it in stasis 4 times, and then once with a one handed weapon. Since bomb arrows are useless in the never ending rain.
