Rucco Maag Shrine Walkthrough
Rucco Maag shrine is a bit puzzling. It requires you to have five torches jutting out from the central cube. However,you have to light them all simultaneously. If you want to rotate the cube, hit the nearby crystals. When you do so, the cube then turns towards the direction in which the affected crystal points to.
However, if you want to succeed in the shrine, make sure you don’t hit any water. If you do so, the torches get snuffed out. There’s a pool of water and a fountain you want to avoid so, make sure you do so.
If you want to finish this shrine easy peasy, you’re going to need some Fire Arrows. If you don’t have any, throw a pile of wood on the ground and ignite it using a flint or Red Chuhu Jelly. Once you set that up, move a regular arrow towards it and you’ll have a Fire Arrow ready to use.
When you start solving the puzzle, start off in the deault position. You only need a few simple steps. Light up the two adjacent torches on your right using the Fire Arrows. Next, hit the only horizontal crystal to make the cube rotate horizontally. If you do so, the fountain should point at the crystals.
After that, light up the torch to the left of the cube with a fire arrow. With all five of them set ablaze, the door leading to the altar opens up.
Before you leave, there are two treasure chests. You’ll notice them sitting there at the far wall on elevated ledges. If you want them, burn the wooden ledges they’re on with Fire Arrows.
When you’re done, head to the altar and talk to Rucco Maag. Then, you can grab your Spirit Orb.
