The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild features shields that boost Link resistance to enemies’ attacks.
Shields
Similar to the Armors, the Shields that Link can equip will grant defense boost and some might provide special properties. It deflects a number of attacks based on the property tied to the equipped Shield such as: blocking fireballs and projectiles that the enemy will launch at Link. However, it does not guarantee safety in all situations since it features wear and tear, which means that there is a chance for them to break when engaged in combat.
In addition, some of these have certain special effects that grant resistance to certain conditions. In this game, these properties should be accounted for during the Story Battles. One special feature is that these double as vehicles to get through special terrains such as sloping mountains.

so i think a guardian laser does 25 durability damage so daybreak can tank 2 and break on the 3rd which is pretty good but then you look at the hylian shield and it can tank 31 and break on 32 lol
