Soh Kofi Shrine Walkthrough – A Minor Test of Strength
A block away from the Lanayru Tower, it requires crossing a blue bridge to find some folks from Zora.
As you enter the Shrine, you will eventually be greeted with a lurching Guardian Scout Swordsman. Its animations are quite sluggish, and while it may attempt to raise its Shield to anticipate an attack, it chains a slow retaliation. After whittling it down, it might perform a backflip, make sure to take cover from one of the pillars to avoid his charged blow.
When its health drops around 1/2, its behavior alters and fights more defensively. It envelopes itself with an energy beam that deals damage if you approach it. A good way to deal against this is to take off with the Paraglider then following it up with a Bow Strike from mid-air, this temporarily slows time to enable you to place an Arrow to its ocular. This not only deals massive damage but also cripples the Guardian Scout.
By the time its health falls extremely low, it suddenly becomes coated in blue and attempts to suck some energy. If it is successful, it will release multiple destructive parting shots that net severe damage. Prevent its hit by performing either some fast sprints or approach it immediately
Take it out and collect the weapons it drops, this eventually reveals a path at the far door. Exit through then open the treasure chest to obtain a Knight’s Bow, then talk to the Monk Soh Kofi to collect your prize – the Spirit Orb .
