This page contains an enemy guide on how to defeat Wizzrobe in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, including attacks, patterns and strategy. We will be updating this as we go along.

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Wizzrobes are cloaked creatures gifted with Magic. Taking on the Wizzrobe is a daunting task. First off, they have the power to levitate and conceal themselves for a period of time with cloaking. They can hurl projectiles at you and call upon Keese or Chuchus to worsen the situation.

Strategy

The best strategy is to snipe them before they uncover your position. If you cannot afford to do this, launch an Ice Arrow on Fire or Meteo Wizzrobes, while an Ice Wizzrobe and Blizzrobes will fall from the Fire Arrow. The Electric and Thunder Wizzrobes require a careful approach since they have no weakness, your best bet is to wield the best bow in your possession.

If you could position yourself under a Wizzrobe, arming yourself with the best spear from your inventory has sufficient reach to stab the Wizzrobe hovering for a fierce hit. This melee strategy is also effective on their summoned mobs elemental mobs: Chuchus, and Keese. Place a headshot to a Wizzrobe using any bow from your arsenal, then deliver the coup de grace with a flurry of melee stabs.

  1. I’m relatively new to the game and just got killed by one of these fire effers a few days ago. Had a weird dream about them, so I came to see what the heck they were and how to beat them, lol.

  2. okay, two things. you didnt mention the weaknesses of electric and thunder wizzrobes, which i actually came here for, and also, electric wizzrobes are also at the ridgeland tower.

  3. I jumped off the closest mountain with my paraglide made it near the chest hit dash twice and made it to bottom of tower and hit save on ledge. Took me 3-4 goes to get off bottom ledge hitting the jump quick. I just saved at every new ledge. Once your at the top you just drop bombs down until there all dead. Had problems with last electric wizard. Just glided down and collected all the stuff.
