Mimic Skin Feature
The Mimic feature is a new mechanic in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition that lets you take on the form of some of the named characters you meet during the main story. It is essentially a custom skin for your characters.
How to Unlock Mimic Skins
1) Obtain Memory Crystals
Mimic skins are unlocked using Memory Crystals obtained from collecting Moogle Stamps and clearing Bonus Dungeons. Talk to a Moogle at a Moogle nest to change your appearance to a character using your acquired Memory Crystals.
Mimic Feature Mechanics
1) You can only use Mimic skins of characters from the same Tribe and gender.
Your character can only take on the appearance of NPCs that are from the same Tribe (Race) and gender as you. You cannot, for instance, change into the appearance of the Black Knight (Lilty) if your character is a Clavat or is female.
2) Your character’s voice lines change.
Using the Mimic skin of certain NPCs causes your character’s voice lines to change to that of the NPC you are disguised as.
3) Mimic Skins only takes effect in dungeons.
Note that going into a town or to the docks reverts you back to your original appearance. You must talk to a Moogle at a Moogle nest to access the Mimic feature again. Mimic skins also do not take effect during cutscenes and Caravan Events.

No your wrong still. Sherlotta is a yuke skin. Don’t ask me why she just is
Wow, you’re right. I just assumed it was Selkie since I couldn’t use it on Clavat. But how the hell is she for Yuke’s? That’s so weird.
It makes sense why Sherlotta is a Yuke. You will understand it if you play FFCC:Echoes of Time. Sherlotta isn’t clavat nor Selkie or anything else, she is not mortal. She is a soul that uses the Clavat/half-cat form as her appearance and Yuke is a soul too. So it is why she is “Yuke” skin because of the lore.
A few of the DLC ones are wrong. Mira is a Clavat, Sherlotta and Chime are both Selkie’s.
Thanks for the heads up! Already corrected.
