How to Transfer Save Data

Players are allowed to continue their progress in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition by transferring their saved data from the “Lite Edition” to the full version of game. Demo versions of games such as Trials of Mana Remake can load a locally saved data within the gaming platform but Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles requires an online connection. Luckily, players are not required to have an active subscription of PlayStation Plus or Nintendo Switch Online to be to transfer save data.

Nintendo Switch Version

1) Open Lite Version

Open the lite version of the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition. Then, select the “Transfer Data” menu option.

2) Upload Save Data

Select “Upload” to transfer data and this includes the characters your created. Be reminded that Add-On or DLC purchased and loaded to the lite version will not transferred. Add-On content have to download them directly from the Nintendo Switch Online.

3) Input Password

Input your password in order to transfer data to the full version of the game. Then, pick “Star Upload” to upload your save data online.

4) Remember your Transfer Code

After fully uploading your save data, you will be given a “Transfer Code. Remember these digits when you attempt to input it to the full version of the game.

5) Open the Full Version

Close the Lite Edition and open your full version of the game. Don’t delete the Lite Edition yet just in case. Once you’re in the game’s main menu, select “Transfer Data”.

6) Input Transfer Code

Input the Transfer Code shown from the Lite Version. Make sure you inputted the correct code.

7) Input Password

After successfully inputting your transfer code, you will be asked input your password.

8) Check your Save Data

Once the game confirmed your password, the save data will be downloaded. The game will restart and press “Continue” to check your transferred data. Play and continue the game.
