How to Play Online Multiplayer
Online multiplayer can be accessed at any time in the game menu even when you are going through the main story. This allows you to clear difficult areas, especially the post-game high-difficulty dungeons to obtain rare crafting scrolls and Memory Crystals.
Is there Local (Offline) Multiplayer?
There is no offline co-op in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered. You will need an internet connection and the necessary paid online subscriptions if you are playing on the Playstation 4 (Playstation Plus) or Nintendo Switch (Nintendo Switch Online).
Creating a Room
| 1 | From the game menu, select “Play with Everyone.” |

| 2 | Select “Recruit.” |
| 3 | Select the dungeon you wish to tackle. You can also specify recruitment ranges and indicate information in your room such as “Beginners Welcome”, “Item Drop Farming”, or “Looking for Allies.” Note that cross-play can be disabled here as well. |
| 4 | Select “Confirm” to create the room. |
Joining a Room
| 1 | From the game menu, select “Play with Everyone.” |

| 3 | Select a room that you wish to join. You can also search for a specific room by entering the Room ID in the menu. |
Following Other Players (Friends)
You can follow other players to register them under your Friends list. This makes it easier to begin multiplayer sessions with people you are familiar with instead of playing with random people.
Additional Information
Multiplayer is region-locked
While you will be able to play with other people on other platforms (Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android), you cannot engage in co-op with players from different regions.
