Boss Battle Guide for Red Giant
The Red Giant is a post-game boss that can be encountered in Misty Mount Kilanda. The boss is accompanied by a pair of Behemoth enemies. He specializes in the use of swords.

| Shocking Fist | The Red Giant swings his arm to unleash a rotating missile. The attack not only causes big damage but also inflicts paralysis. He only uses it when he becomes unarmed. |
| Sword Cut | The boss charges his sword and then pushes it to the ground to produce a shockwave. Those who are caught within the area of effect take damage, get knocked back, and become stunned. In hard mode, this boss will launch the attack faster leaving your character with less opening to dodge it. |
| Sword Shock | The boss swings his sword to produce a missile. It is the armed variant of the fist slash. |
| Sword Swing | The boss swings the sword. The attack has a long reach and deals a hefty amount of damage. |

Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:
Defeat the minions
Behemoth will replace the goblins as minions at the start of the battle. Make use of Blizzara to freeze and deal damage to them.
Have him break his weapon
The boss’ attacks depend on the weapon he carries. Lure him to attack and dodge to the side. After some time, the Red Giant’s weapon will break and becomes unarmed for the remainder of the battle. Close in right away and land those attacks and then stop when he throws his hands up.
Wait for the shockwave to subside
After the boss lifts his arms, move back as far as you can. He will crush the ground and send a massive shockwave that can catch anyone that is in the way.
Bait the boss to approach near the cracks
The cracks will expel steam that causes damage to the boss. However, to trigger the steam you need to toss a pot into the holes close by. If you opt to use this method to cause damage to it, make sure to not get caught since you will also take damage from the steam.
