Reach the First Rail Yard

1	From the entrance, follow the path going west while defeating Orc enemies along the way.
2	Take out the Bomb enemies in the large western room.
3	Be sure to use the Fire Hot Spot here to infuse the Crystal Chalice with Fire which is important for the boss fight ahead.
4	Backtrack to the tracks near the starting area and hit the cart there using your Focus Attack.
5	Follow it around the corner and hit it again to destroy the wall of crates.

Explore the First Rail Yard

1	Enter the first rail yard and defeat the Orcs there. Also, look for the 1st treasure chest (30 Gil) in the northeast area.
2	Afterwards, place the Crystal Chalice in the north switch and hit the cart again to destroy the wall leading to the next area.

Explore the Second Rail Yard

1	Head for the second rail yard by going north. Keep hitting and following the cart.
2	Take out the enemies in the open and look for the 2nd treasure chest (Clear Stone x1) in the southeast area.
3	You can explore the southwest area connected through a small tunnel to fight more enemies. Then, you can go upstairs to hunt for more enemies.
4	Return to the main area of the second rail yard. Push the cart again toward two switches again. Step on the switch to the north and hit the cart again to break the next wall.
5	Follow the tracks in the next area going north and as it bends east.

Explore the Third Rail Yard

1	When you arrive at the third rail yard, ignore the cart and the railway tracks. Start taking out the enemies, including an Orge.
2	Acquire a key from defeating the Ogre enemy. Don’t enter yet since there are still chests not yet opened.
3	Go to the southwest area and find the 3rd treasure chest (Raise Stone x1).
4	Go northwest to find the 4th treasure chest (30 Gil).
5	Go northeast to find the 5th treasure chest (Cure Stone x1).
6	Use the key to open the gate to reach the next area.  Enter the opened gate.

Explore the Fourth Rail Yard

Explore the Fifth Rail Yard

1	Continue moving along the bending tracks and take out more Orc enemies.
2	Reach the fourth rail yard and find 7th treasure chest (Buckler Artifact x1) in the northwest side
3	Press on west to find a dead end that you can examine. Go inside to find the 6th Moogle Nest and Moogle Stamp #2.
4	Leave the nest and resume your journey going north.

Tips and Strategies

Move away from Bomb Enemies  before they explode

Bombs will self-destruct when they are defeated, dealing major area-of-effect damage to anything caught within its range. Move away from it to avoid getting killed instantly.

Enemy List and Weaknesses

Acquire Moogle Stamp #2

Before leaving the the area, make sure to locate the sixth Moogle Nest. When you’re on the second suspended platform, go west and follow the railway trail.  You will find a mine entrance from there.

Orc King Boss Strategies

Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:

Defeat the mobs

Before anything else, clear the area of lesser orcs before taking on the boss.

Keep your distance

Keep moving and maintain a moderate distance away from the boss. If you move too far or get too close, you’ll be punished by his attacks. Continue to be mobile to avoid a potential physical attack when he starts chasing you.

Use Ice Magic of Focus Attacks

You can damage the boss by using a ranged focus attack or ice spell. Just make sure to cast faster than the boss or you will get hurt.

Avoid the Magic Circle

The boss relies on elemental spells to nuke you from afar. You need to stay out of the magic circle and counter it with your own elemental spells. Choose a spell that has a short cast time like low level ones.

Deal continuous attacks while the boss is casting

When the boss’ health is critically low, there will be a countdown. He’ll take some time to charge for a powerful blow. Run up to him quickly and go to town with physical attacks or fire off ice spells fast. The key is to knock him out before he gets the chance to unleash an explosion.
